HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

Happy (early) Valentines Day!! I couldn't wait any longer to post this on my blog. My nephew, Cason came over for a few hours early this week so we could take some pictures similar to ones that we took of his older brother when he was his age.
These pictures of Cason mean a lot to my family. If you look close at the image you will see the scars that he has on his chest from the open heart surgeries that he has had. Cason was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome prior to his birth. Click here to learn more about HLHS. Cason has been very blessed with his health since he came home from Wisconsin. Unfortunately, he will be having another surgery in July.
For my nephew, Cason and our other heart friends, my family and friends will be walking in the Heart Walk in Kansas City on Saturday, May 30th. My family has set a personal goal to raise funds for the American Heart Association and we need your help to reach my donation goal. We are raising critical dollars for heart disease and stroke research and education. A great example of where these research dollars go is obvious to me each and every day as I look at my nephew, Cason. The future holds strong for him and many others because of this research. When you support CHD research and screening you are helping to save a life!

You can help us reach our goal by making a donation online. Click
here and you will be taken to our personal donation page where you can make a secure online credit card donation. If you are interested in joining our team on the walk please contact me and I can give you all the details for this. Thanks for your help.
